A late stipulation was added to the April 2011 card main-evented by Hellking. After outside interference, we lost a Loser Leaves Town match and were left laid out on the canvas, staring at the lights as our career seemingly came to an abrupt close. Destined never to run the ropes again, our last heat fizzled out as the crowd popped for newer, brighter, frankly better (yet less devious) grapplers.
Fast forward 15 months... Yeah, everybody knows that retirements in this industry don't mean shit! How many times has Mick Foley retired? How many times has Terry Funk retired? How many times has Ric Flair retired? Well now, we're sellouts too. We've started practicing again and will step back between the ropes on Saturday, August 4th at the Mullae Funderdome (aka Lowrise), sharing a card with up-and-comers Mixed Blood (pretty sure one of those guys was one of the hooded dudes who did the run-in on our retirement match) and Scumraid, fellow returnees Brothers Of The Hole and Something Fierce, and well-established mat technicians No Control and Sato Yukie.
Unfortunately, I was the only person who had any recording of our new move-set when we broke up, and I lost it in a hard drive crash last year. Nobody can remember for sure how they went. So seven of our best (...or, least shitty...) moves have been stripped from our arsenal. But we're hoping to add some new moves to our repertoire, so hopefully it won't be a big deal.
Oh yeah, and I broke my foot recently, that better be fucking better before August or we're going to suck out loud.
